The Nokia N80 is a multimedia phone which has a physical appearance like a block that has had its longest edges rounded out, making it comfortable to hold. A profile view of the device reveals its somewhat wedged shape, which is quite attractive to all types of users. The brushed front facade and textured black body also look good, and resist finger prints far better than many of the Nokia N80's glossy counterparts. Nokia N80 comes in black and silver colour that seems to suit the look well. While neither small nor light, measuring 96mm x 50mm x 26mm and weighing 135, the Nokia N80 feels appropriate when one considers all those comprehensive features packed inside it.
Nokia N80 runs on the Symbian OS and possesses a Series 60 user interface. With its unique sliding mechanism which is present in no other smart phone, the phone comes in a place of very high class business phones with bunch of features. The camera of the phone has a resolution of 3.0 with a flash as well. The camera supports self-timer pictures, sequence of pictures, different shooting modes (+night mode), white balance, exposure value, different colour effects (sepia, black and white, etc.), sharpness, brightness, contrast, colour saturation.
The Nokia N80 has a music player which is very good. It has an equalizer, supports play lists and the phone’s loud speaker is very good and loud. The supported file formats are MP3, AAC, m4a, eAAC+ and WMA. The phone also has a Real Player and a Flash player preinstalled. The FM radio application is very good and you can preset and save your favourite stations or you can switch them manually. Nokia N80 radio application is a Visual Radio, which means that it uses the available GPRS/EDGE/UMTS or Wi-Fi connections to download information from the radio stations about the current song and artist. Two separate web browser applications are present in the Nokia N90 which make web browsing a delightful experience.
