There are a lot of hot disputes whether the examinees should be searched for any cheating devices. On one hand, cheating at the exams is hardly a crime. If a cell phone is not allowed at the exams you can use your MP3 player and listen to your own recording of classes. Micro earpiece is not only used by students, it can be applied whenever covert communication is in need.
Whether schools and colleges will make the exam policy stricter or not the students are always a few steps ahead their teachers in inventing new ways to cheat.
