For those using posters or postcards you simply know from the beginning that you need a very strong visual aspect to them if you want someone to actually read what you have to say. In fact, with these types of marketing the visual is almost one of the most important parts of the marketing. The message is going to be simple, basic, and easy to understand so that a person does not need to know much in order to get the message.
The thing about brochures is that the images are going to be just as important, if not more so, because you still need to get a person interested in reading what your brochure has to say.

Always keep your attention on the full color part of it, because this is what makes a person even consider looking through your brochure. Your lengthier message means you have to do more to convince them that they should take the time out of their day to flip through your brochure.

Now all it takes is a second for them to have their interest grabbed and to be told about what they are about to read. You have given them that reason to open up the brochure and read the rest.
