Terms such as, bone density, osteo-arthritis, and herniated vertebral discs are now common lingo in exercise settings. These terms refer to the health and condition of an individuals’ muscular-skeletal system. Characteristics of this system can be directly improved-upon with the right training.
A form of exercise termed, Closed-Kinetic Chain Exercise is the front-runner in training modalities for muscular health, function, and performance…(what more could you ask from a group of exercises!).
These moves are basic and primitive, but challenging. They require the use of the majority of the body’s muscle tissue and nervous system, therefore developing the majority of the body’s muscle tissue. Health issues such as osteopenia, fibromyalgia, and joint instability are directly addressed as a result of performing these exercises.
Other great benefits of these moves include: Increased daily expenditure rates (metabolic), greater resistance to soft-tissue injury, greater resistance to skeletal body injury, higher energy levels.
After stressing your muscles to, or close to, fatigue, they may be in need of a thorough stretch. My TOWEL STRETCH can reach deep into your muscles to stretch and relax them after demanding lots of work from them!
This 15-minute stretching routine makes you feel great, and helps to promote long-term flexibility.
