For using the SharePoint Server 2010 an employer would need the assistance of Workflow Developers, Site Administrators and List Administrators:
Workflow Developers would be required for handling the assembly codification and workflow packaging.
Site Administrators would be required for managing and controlling the work flow
List Administrators would be required for integrating the workflow template and content.
With the assistance of these three technical specialists an employer can create, remove and even terminate the workflows.
The first step for creating workflow is maneuvering the Central Administration Settings (CAS) for activating the user-defined settings or Workflow Task Notifications.
These are the steps for enabling the CAS:
Navigate and open the Web Applications section and select Application Management.
Click Manage Web Applications for selecting the desired application.
Go to the Manage Group section and select either User-Defined Workflows or Workflow Task Notifications.
Note: With the user defined work flow a user can define the workflow editor.
Note: Task notification work flows are required for sending notifications to the users (internal user / external user) who don’t have an access.
Note: Select the create task feature for creating a facility called limited access. With this step an employer can deter the spoofing and tampering attacks to a created task.
Note: Work flow history is another SharePoint security option which induces transparency in the system by tracking the user actions.
An employer can also user the User-Impersonation Step type for declarative workflows. Various commands can be issued with this tool like:
Publish a secured list
Grant permissions to the user
Create Templates and take ownership
Define Content Approval Status (as Owner)
Create a List Item (as Owner)
Remove a List Item, etc.
The methods available with SharePoint server won’t give a correct picture to the employer. With Kernel’s Computer Spy Tool an employer can monitor live or recorded desktop operations of the employees. This PC Spy Tool can be used for remotely viewing an employee’s operations and sending messages to him if required. This tool can deter the employees from doing non productive operations in the office.
