How long will prospective buyers wait for the information to come up on the screen? Less than you think. If they have to click to more than two places to find what they want, they will often give up and go to some other website.
Keep your website interesting. Not all browsers will buy right away. Usually customers will not buy the first time they check out your website. The average buyer will visit your website three times before placing an order.
Mailed catalogs do not cut back on sales from websites. A survey by the Millard Group found that 80 percent of consumers said that receiving catalogs in the mail influenced them to shop for the item online. They kept the catalogs for reference to remember what they bought.
