A look around the main site reveals several serious flaws in their PTR (paid to read emails) program. I have found several disturbing quotes that will hopefully make you turn tails and run away from maystromails. |

Here is a quote from their 'terms' page:
Members will earn a percentage of advertising revenues collected by maystromails.com. Payout rate is not guaranteed or defined, it's based on site incomes. Payout time is not guaranteed as well and may be seriously delayed... Payments will be made within 30-90 days or a reasonable time after. Upgrade members recieve payouts much faster.
What can be concluded from those disheartening sentences?
- maystomails is not doing well as a company because their payout rate is based in site incomes and cannot live up to their affiliate commission levels.
- They are unreliable and untrustworthy because payout time is not guaranteed and "may be seriously delayed".
- They are unprofessional because they say payment may be made "a reasonable time after".
- Somewhere along the line they are going to ask for your money to upgrade your membership.
They also try to hide what the minimum payout is; this is from their FAQ:
When can I request payment?
You may request payment after you have earned the minimum payout.
Not very helpful is it!... no wonder it's frequently asked...
So far they have shown themselves to be a pretty bad company, but here they say things that just don't add up!
Affiliates will earn 20% of their direct referral earnings, 10% of their indirect referral level earnings, 5% of their 3rd level referral earnings, 3% of their 4th level referral earnings, 2% of their 5th level referral earnings and 1% of their 6th level referral earnings..
That is from their FAQ and it is different to the payment plan on their homepage! The homepage displays the commissions completely differently with different percentages of commisions!
Yet another nail in the coffin (there are more!)
This is from the FAQ:
Referral earnings are displayed once a referred member has earned their referring member at least 1 full cent. Technically a member with 1000 referrals that have each earned him/her 1/2 cent has earned $5.00 but their earnings will not be shown until an individual member has earned them 1 full cent.
This really makes me wonder why anyone would sign up to maystromails.com. They are talking about CENTS! I know that you could read many emails in for example, 1 hour and probably earn 'several cents', but the fact that they have this in the FAQ means referrals must consistently be earning their referrers less than 1 cent.
The final nail in the very well sealed coffin
Just take a second to read what that screenshot says; it is totally ridiculous! Those massive 'bonuses' are obviously never going to happen. The minimum payout is also revealed to be a whopping $1000. It is 'cleverly' integrated beneath those bigger figures that draw your attention away from it. Notice the payment options are for platinum members. There is no sign of how normal members get paid.
maystromails.com claim to have paid out "8,586,902,000.00" already, which is way to much, especially given they are selling links from their homepage for just $4 a month.
I still haven’t even mentioned the terrible look of the site. It is plastered in tacky banner advertisements, which just emphasis the desperate situation they have got themselves into.
Conclusion
I am very certain that maystromails.com is an Internet scam. There is not a single good thing I can think of about it. Don't join it. I hope this review will warn people away from it. I am currently on the search to find a place to report them and get the banned from Google. Wish me luck!
