Making money online has not always been easy. Especially with all the scams and fraud on the Internet. It is a shame when you can not trust anyone because you have been scammed or your information is taken and then abused. However there are other alternatives. I believe strongly in creating your "own" income for the simple fact of competition. If you are selling for someone else's product, 99% of the time you are not the only one selling that same product (unless the company has a limit to the number of programs that can be attainted). Be original! Being unique is the only way to go to ensure your complete success online or offline. For example, a young man in college came up with an idea to sell pixels to make $1,000,000 for tuition. He did and a lot of other people followed in his idea. However, very few that followed in his foot steps where as successful as he was. There was competition in field. (You can visit his web page here: www.TheMillionDollarHomepage.com). I can not stress enough how important it is to be creative and original.

A lot of companies promise to give you a better future "or your money back". Many of us have tried this, but how often do you actually get your money back without a headache or hassle. Now don't get me wrong, affiliate programs can be very rewarding. One main reason is most of them are free. The only problem is in order to make them work you will have to give a lot of either money, time or both. Money is something that I definitely do not have an abundance of and time is too precious (especially when you have a family). I know a few webmasters and if you ask them they didn't become a success overnight. They had to study and research the market.

I am not a wealthy person with an enormous bank account, but I do live above average. I haven't always been where I am right now. I have never liked working under someone else. I've had various jobs in the past. Mainly customer service jobs. My problem is that I don't like authority. Someone tells me what to do and when to do it. My last job was a customer service representative for an electric company. I worked a regular schedule of 8 am - 7 pm, Monday - Friday. I woke up at 6 am and left home at 6:55 am, just to get ahead on the traffic, and didn't arrive home till 8:30 pm. I experienced traffic going and coming from work. Really, it just wasn't that appealing to me. There was no life in my life. From sun up to sun down I was at work. There were days that I didn't even get to see my family or be around for those little things such as: graduations, weddings, family events or gatherings. I have been in a situation where I was paying off credit cards with other credit cards. Don't let me even get started on student loans. Having to budget didn't work out for me. Also being $15,000 in debt was another problem. I was one of those people that would check the caller Id for collection agency's calling. Trust me, I was in a pretty bad situation. Some of you that are reading this may be worse off.

Consider working at home or having your own business (outside of home if you prefer). When you create your own income, it's much more rewarding. You are your own boss, which means that no one determines the amount of money you make but you. You'll have more time to do the things you love. Take a trip, if you want, without having to ask your boss. Also, I believe that people deserve better. Did you know that 95% of Americans will die broke? The other 5% could be you. Chances are that if you are reading this, you in some way understand the importance of securing your future. You see a brighter future somewhere that doesn't involve the life of working to live pay check to pay check.

Your probably thinking, it's easier to get a job than to start a business. On the contrary, it's easier to work at home than to find a job. Think about it. Looking for a good job can take days, weeks or months. You live in your office right now and you don't even know it. I work out of my room on a laptop. My income ranges anywhere around 2,500 - 3,000 a month (sometimes more) just to sit and mess around on my laptop. I save a lot more money staying at home as well. You've seen the gas prices. If you drive a large vehicle such as a SUV, you surely know the pain of filling up your tank at the gas station.

As I said, I believe people deserve better. That is why I am writing this article. There are so many people like yourself that don't know where to look or how to get started. Although, this small article will not show you the step by step process, it will give you a nudge in the right direction.

People should know the truth and that there is a life outside of working a day to day job. The best part is that you can start doing some of the examples below with little or no investment. What I do now, I call a hobby. Remember when I said be original and creative. This article is part of me being creative. I love to write. This is just a way to express myself. I write articles for some small local companies as well. You can do the same thing if you applied your natural talents. Get in touch with some of your local publishing companies and present a sample of your articles. Some companies pay nice. Find what makes you unique. Evening if it's tongue tricks. You can create an e-book on "tongue tricks" and charge a price of 9.95. If writing isn't your thing, there is a variety of different things you can do at home or outside of home. With a little effort on your part, you can succeed.

Here are just a few examples:

1.) Make money with your own referral business!
Various types of businesses are always looking to bring in new customers. A high competitive business will gladly accept your service. Such as: auto maintenance, child care, real estate agents, travel agents and lawyers.

2.) Make money being a photographer!
There is plenty of work for a photographer. Many people need a photographer's for weddings, banquets, fashion shows, trade shows, and local performances.

3.) Make $3000 a month with garage sales!
You can make a large amount of money with garage sales. You don't have to sell your items. You can have your neighbor or anyone help. Asking for old junk is easy. Plenty of people are willing to get rid of their junk, because they don't want to have to do it themselves.

4.) Make an extra $1000 a month or more with your own errand service!
People are more busier than ever these days. Groceries still need to be bought, deliveries still need to be made, and clothes need to be picked up from the cleaners. You have an advantage with your errand service.

Those examples above are just a few of hundreds. When there is a need for money, you have to be creative sometimes. When your credit cards are all "maxed", your family and friends have lent all that they can lend to you, collection agency's are calling more and more everyday, and you don't know how to provide for your family, take my advice and be creative and always make what your worth!
