When you are toying with the idea of getting a teaching profession in Japan, there is no reason for you to hesitate. You should proceed right away with the process of application, before your opportunity runs out. Kani, Japan has an English school which is owned by a Canadian; and is close to Nagoya. It is small and owned privately. It specializes in English courses which are personalized so that the students will be able to understand better.
You will not have a problem dealing with your class, since you will be assigned with a small group. Furthermore, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Everyone that you will be working with are friendly, assuring you that you will not have a hard time adjusting. There are also instances wherein the teachers are sent to universities.
Based on your experience and your eligibility, your salary each month ranges from 250,000 to 280,000 yen. Once you are through with your contract, the school will provide you with transportation benefits to Nagoya. The duration of your contract will run for two years, starting on April 2007.
If you want to apply for English jobs in Japan, you should be a native speaker of the English language. You must have acquired a bachelor's degree; however, it does not matter whether you have a certification for your educational attainment or not. Employers prefer it when you have previous experience with teaching although, it is not required. You also have to be polite and friendly, since these characteristics are greatly needed when dealing with students and superiors.
