These four strategies are crucial and critical to the success of outsourcing from the companies who have hired outsource providers as well as from customers' perspective. It should be believed that the success of offshore project relies much upon the client company. Therefore, before signing a contract it is better to clarify the goals and expectations of the client company, and to have an understanding towards the establishment of the best communication between the client company and the outsourcing firm and with everyone involved in the task. It is imperative to practice project-management discipline rigorously.
In the same way, for a client company, evaluating your outsource service provider before finalizing everything is must like you do while hiring a full-time employee. It is also important for them to set their expectations and tell the outsourcing company clearly about it. Also, there are legal and regulatory criteria needed to consider as well. Preparing for outsourcing success also needs effective training to be given to the staff, strong leadership and change in the management style for every new process taken by the outsourcing firm. Needless to say, most important is to maintain an ongoing relationship with the client company and outsourcing firm for the successful outsourcing.
