Learn all the Notes of the Guitar in 1 Week

You only have to spend a 1/2 hour a day on this and you will know all the notes on the guitar in one week. First off make sure your guitar is in tune or you will drive yourself crazy. Also this is taught as if your guitar is in standard tuning.

I know I know lol here we go - Lets get started

Don't try to memorize the Notes all in one day - It'll overload your brain!
Music is a very slow steady process, it takes time and patience.
So take it easy and learn a chunk at a time.

Just do one note every day - so whatever today is - today is Tuesday for me so I'll write this down on a piece of paper

Tuesday = C

Wednesday = D

Thursday = E

Friday = F

Saturday = G

Sunday = A

Monday = B

Always Remember in Standard Tuning After C is C Sharp and Before C is C Flat

If you are in Tune you will know when you hit the wrong note it will sound bad - Don't worry about sharps and flats on C day - Just do C - Do the C exercise

a couple times then resume practicing. Then next time you pick up your guitar try again or do it for 15 to 30 minutes straight

You will actually learn more on the guitar if you practice in spurts - Your brain will retain more - So split your time up. Maybe practice when you get up in

the morning - then again in the afternoon or when you get home from work/school etc then again before you go to sleep. Learning Theory is best when your

about to go to sleep - believe me it will make you tired lol

You should start to notice the octaves to make things easier - The fretboard should start opening up for you - It happens different for everyone - If you

don't know what I'm talking about you will when it happens :)

You will at this point know all the notes on the guitar now experiment and practice the sharps and flats the same way - Remember Though if you Know where C

is then you will know where C sharp and C flat are
