Jet Grouting involves using a large drill with directional nozzles to drill into the soil and mix in the grouting. After the mixture sets, this creates a solid horizontal column. These columns can have a diameter of between two and six feet.

Many of the techniques now used can work with double or triple fluid grouting techniques, and the mixes of these will be tailored to suit individual requirements. There will need to be a process of study into the soil types of course, to ensure both stability and effectiveness is reached.
