You may choose to take just a few days to explore the Tropical North Queensland region or you may wish to spend some extra time exploring this region in more detail. You may want to also spend some time in the Gold Coast, Brisbane or Sunshine Coast after completing this TNQ itinerary. These areas are just a few hours away by car if you want to rent a car and do some more exploring this way. You'll get a wonderful overview of the Outback if you spend the extra time seeing these other parts of the region.
