On the other hand, because the competition is constantly growing, most of the companies today can not survive alone. In order to survive and competitive, they need help from other companies. For this reason, some companies outsource their production process to other countries.
The largest and the fastest growing industry in almost all developing countries these days is the outsourcing industry. Outsourcing provides developing countries with lots of opportunity to earn considerable amount of income. That is why more and more information technology professionals in these developing countries are in the outsourcing industry.
Most of the companies in Northern America and European nations are now outsourcing some (if not all) of their production process to developing countries. That is because the labor rates of these developing countries (such as Philippines, India, China, etc.) are considerably much lower than those of highly developed countries.
To give you an example of that, let say a client for a certain company that is into software development requested for a certain software. The company will then hire an IT professional to develop that particular software. The professional fee for an “in house” employee is very high (around a thousand dollars). On the other hand, if they outsource the request to the IT companies in developing countries, the overhead costs is considerably low than the amount that they will pay to their “in house” IT professional. And in addition to that, the quality of the software is very much the same only much much lower. How about if you will need to have at least a thousand of that software, let’s say that the overhead costs for that particular software is around a thousand dollars, while if you outsource your overhead cost for a single software with the same quality is only a hundred dollars. Think of all the money that you are going save by outsourcing.
In addition to the money that is saved by outsourcing, the company’s heavy workload will also be distributed, therefore allowing the company to be highly efficient. And also, the company will be able to concentrate on other essential matters. Thus, allowing the company to grow.
By outsourcing the company’s business process, the company will save lots of money and the company will be able to make full use of its resources because its workloads are distributed to other means and thus allowing them to concentrate more on the more important tasks.
If you are planning to outsource your business process, make sure that the IT company you are outsourcing to will be able to get the task done properly and on time. Efficiency and Quality are two of the most important aspects of a successful company.
