In recent years, there seems to be an increasing fad among bloggers to use their blogs to make money. This trend was further fueled by many Internet Marketers who they themselves are very popular bloggers, claiming to make millions from blogging. All doubts that money can be made were erased when they exhibited their 5 figure paychecks purportedly made from their blogs.

Humans are nimble when it comes to making easy money and these Internet Marketers makes it looks so very easy to make money online. They come up with post after post of convincing articles telling their readers the buy so called sure fire plans or e-books that will guarantee their success. Along the way, indeed they made a bundle from their commissions, while many poor bloggers will end up with useless programs and a big hole in their pockets.

There is no doubt, yes, money can be made by blogging, but not the kind we see and read. A reasonably popular blog with about 5000 visitors daily can indeed earn some decent money from the Advertisements that they insert in their blogs, but certainly not 5 figures. Not from one single blog anyway. Most Internet Marketers who makes a living from blogging have over 100 blogs running actively.

Furthermore, they do not rely on blogs alone. They have online stores, affiliate sites, membership sites and all forms of online business. They check they showed off in their blogs is definitely not from that blog alone. It is from the combination of their whole empire.
