An Ethernet connection is much faster than a dial up phone line connection, but requires a computer to have an Ethernet card installed and configured properly. Ethernet connection have many benefits like faster downloads, quick and easy to set up, reliable, better PC performance, compatible with home network equipment. Ethernet is designed specifically for connecting to a network, and has proven to be far more reliable than a USB connection.
