Yes sure, there are legitimate internet businesses, but it is getting more and more difficult to tell them apart.
Anyone can set up an Online Internet Business, with a great sales copy, heck you could sell ice to an Eskimo, and it doesn’t seem to matter to a lot of internet marketers if the product or service actually works.
I am amazed at the amount of internet scams or services that are circulating on the net promising the world, even promising to make money in seconds.
Yes you can make money online, but you will have to work really hard at it. You will have to learn all the strategies you possibly can to build a legitimate business and to start to earn trust with people online. This is a slow process.
Starting an Internet Business is exactly the same as starting an offline business; we all know how hard that can be.
We are all searching for the pot at the end of the rainbow, but please proceed with caution I have come to the conclusion, if I am offered something that sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Also keep in mind that if you are unsure and you go to review or research a particular product or service, you will find 90% of the time that the reviews will be all thumbs up, usually because these people will be promoting the product as affiliate marketers. For any one that is unsure what an affiliate marketer is, this is someone promoting another persons product or service, they will earn commissions doing so.
Probably unaware if the product or service actually works, as they haven’t taken the time to try it out for themselves.
Recently there was an individual selling items on an auction site, he actually was selling items that he never had. People trusted him paid for their items and never received anything. Yes he was finally caught by the police. When he was asked why he did this, his answer was, simply “Because it was an easy way to make money quickly”
I am hoping that the search engines will start to clamp down on this sort of non-sense.
With technology these days, I’m sure they could come up with a better way of screening anyone who wishes to start an online business. It could be just like going for a job interview.
I have my own Internet Business, but I have worked really hard and studied a lot to build a trust worthy online business.
With all the scamming and bad products or services on the internet it is harmful to the people who do work really hard to provide an honest reliable service.
Be thorough when searching for products or services online; don’t always believe that very well written sales copy.
We all need to stick together to make the internet a safer place. The internet is a powerful place. If you have had a bad experience or bought a bad product or service, tell someone post it, if you don’t know how to post it find someone who can.
Let’s fight back.
