Try to call their 800 number or send them an e-mail and see how fast they respond and how well they answer your questions. One of the best ways to check out the reliability of a company that offers a home-business opportunity is to run it through Best Business Bureau. Just Google it and see for yourself if it is a good choice.
Second, and one of the most important things that usually you will not hear from business opportunity advertisers is that your start-up process may take a long time. Be prepared to work hard, especially when you are just starting out. If you are not planning to spend a lot of money on advertising in the beginning, or your advertising budget is limited, you will have to work very hard in order to get enough traffic to your web site. There is a lot of secrets and tricks to it. For many people it is very disappointing and often times beginners give up after a month or two. Or even earlier.
If you are serious about internet marketing, you should be prepared to write articles, press releases, participate in marketing forums, start your own blog and do a lot of other things that bring free traffic to your web site. Third, and probably the most important thing is that you need to do a lot of research on your own and test dozens and maybe hundreds of different things to see which ones work better for your business. Collect your own e-library. Lots of really good e-books are available on-line for free. Every time you get a chance, download them and save in your own e-library. That will help you out a lot and will even get you a chance to start helping others.
