If the birthday boy/girl has a green thumb, you can gift them with personalized seed packets of their favorite flowers and when these come into bloom, they will be a colorful and aromatic reminder of your special gift. You can also make garden hampers as gifts and include in them a book on gardening, seed packets, gardening tools, scented gardener’s soap, plant tags, gloves etc.
You can also create themed organic hampers with treats from the garden. An English Country Garden theme hamper filled with organic indulgence make for great gifts. You can include things inspired by an English country garden like rose petal jelly, organic English tea blends, buttery biscuits, English lavender soap for a wholesome gift. To make your gift more special, include a handwritten note with a few lines from a classic poem or write a touching message.
Gift in a Jar
This is a simple idea which you can put together easily and they make great birthday gifts. You can gift dry ingredients for a variety of uses like cookie mixes, cake mixes, herbal mixes, hearty soup mixes, bath salts or just layer different kinds of nuts or even candies. The different colors and textures in the jar look visually appealing and are really practical.
To make these into pretty gifts, you can use vintage Mason jars and decorate the lids and tie a ribbon bow around the neck of the bottle. You can also have a hangtag with the list of ingredients or a recipe for using the mix. Homemade gifts have a warm and sentimental touch to them - and no matter what you make it is the thought behind the gift that show!
Gifts for our near and dear ones need not be lavish to express our love and affection because the best gift is the gift that mirrors our sentiments.
