Here is a question that was posed before: Do you have to physically know the person in order for them to be a true mentor to you? Webster's dictionary states that a mentor is a trusted counselor or guide. While that subject is debatable, it really doesn't matter. The reason being is this, as long as that individual has proven trustworthy and guided you through certain aspects of your network marketing business, they are a mentor.

The internet has made it possible for anybody to find someone to mentor them. That relationship doesn't have to be conversational. You can find a mentor in books, audio books, newsletters, websites, etc. Again the beauty of the internet is that you can find and have more than one, which is highly recommended.

No one person can help you develop the necessary skills to help you succeed in your network marketing business. Have diversity or balance. You may need to find someone to help you with sponsoring skills, another to help you with self confidence. Someone else could help you with public speaking and another with marketing on the internet.

Don't make the crucial mistake of trying to build your network marketing business by yourself.

People join a MLM opportunity in hopes of making it big. There are people that have been where you are now and are where you want to be. Seek them out. The ones that know that they are there to serve will not turn you away.

True and reputable mentors will teach you how to stretch your thinking so that you will know all things are possible. They will teach you what works so you can avoid the unnecessary pain and misery. They will teach you how to fish so that you can teach others. The skill sets that you learn from the trustworthy people will take you so much farther in life.

By you going through this process, you are bettering yourself and hopefully positioning yourself as a leader and one to be trusted. As you do that, more and more people will seek you out. As that happens, you will began to make more money than you can have ever imagined and you will be able to change so many lives.
