At times, you get some unanticipated error messages while working with Access. Or you may find problem while accessing database from access database. Access database may corrupt due to virus infections, human errors or some power outrages etc. In case, you must replace corrupt database with updated backup. But what if backup is not available then in that situation you need to repair your corrupt file using third party access repair tool which repairs corrupt or damaged acccdb/mdb files and restores them on user specified locations.

Lets take a scenario where you import data from a table but abruptly an error message pops out displaying:

“Operation failed - too many indexes - reduce the number and try again.”

The above error message shows that your files has corrupted and thus inaccessible.

Cause: The most expected cause of this error is due to corruption in index definitions of table. Access first imports the table and then apply indexes. Since indexes are corrupt so table can't be imported Nevertheless, Data is secure but inaccessible.

Resolution:
To resolve this issues you need to create a new table and remove applied indexes. Then copy the data from corrupt table to new table, and Run append query and then recreate indexes. At last, move the table into new file. However, still if table are not accessible then you need to use third party access repair tool to repair access file.
