One can hope for recovery of the data through a data backup process. There are, however, instances when this ready-made facility cannot help. Then arises the need of using certain memory card recovery software.
Suppose, your memory card has popped out of your camera, or you have accidentally switched your camera off, or stumbled on your USB cable and kicked the plug off its slot while transferring some just-clicked photos from your SD card to your PC.
