In fact, MySpace is also the #1 site for musicians to audition their music to fans. This is one of the reasons why MySpace is NOT dying. According to a news analyst MySpace is a goldmine and is successful as a space for music (for which it was originally designed). What is liked most about MySpace is that you can generally do what you want here as far as socializing and advertising goes.

This makes MySpace one of the Web's most remarkable success stories. The big question with MySpace is whether it is too ghetto to make money. Yes, MySpace is a community site that allows you to setup a profile,a blog, connect with friends, prospects, advertise, socialize and make money.

And since Myspace content has been known to generate revenue, the users have expressed an interest in wanting to get paid. The Myspace lifer money game isn't just page views, its user attention and, ultimately, revenue. There are few hard facts about the revenue generated by MySpace.

In a bid to increase revenue, MySpace may soon begin allowing users to embed video clips from certain Fox television shows into their profile pages. This deal will also secure an important source of traffic and ad revenue for Google , giving it added exposure to a thriving young audience of millions on MySpace.

I would peg the potential monthly revenue at $20M. As for revenue generators that don't cost stock, MySpace currently has just one: Advertising. If they get enough exposure implimenting FOX video clips, it could be a nice revenue generator for Myspace and its visitors.

It's a revenue stream any MySpace star would also want to protect, because If a user clicks on it, you just generated revenue for both yourself and for Myspace, The blog feature in MySpace doesn't have to be used as a journal for your deepest secrets. In addition to the standard streaming feature, you can also embed songs on your blog, MySpace page, or whatever other site you have access to.

MySpace is a good marketing area, in the end. A good example of consumer advertising on MySpace is Nike. MySpace is quietly becoming a goldmine on the net. It is also an online community that lets you meet your friends' friends etc. Even if the MySpace life isn't not for verybody, what people have done with the limited freedom on MySpace is nspiring.
