When used effectively, color can help project a pleasing image for your business and your product or services to achieve the impact that you desire. Although aside from color printing, there are other factors that can affect the success of your brochure campaign.
Fold
The fold that you are going to use for your brochure can affect its look and functionality. To create maximum impact, you should choose the type of fold that complements your brochure’s content. These are just some of your fold choices: Half fold – a single fold brochure that has four pages; Tri fold – a brochure fold that creates six pages or three in each side; Z fold – a fancy brochure type that folds like an accordion.
Cover
Expect that your brochure will be among the other marketing materials that shout "read me" to your target market. Keep in mind that the purpose of the cover is to persuade people to pick up and red your brochure. So, you need to design your cover well. First, avoid filling the cover with bunch of text. The idea is to grab your potential reader’s interest in as few words as possible. Then, use striking images that supports your copy. As long as they are relevant to your point, you may use either photos or graphic artwork (if you must choose, it is always better to use photographs).
Images and Texts
Write attention-grabbing headings. People often scan any reading material before reading it thoroughly. So the best way to keep them reading is to make your headings as powerful as possible. The same is true with the images you use. Use as few of them as possible so as not to clutter the brochure, but make sure that the ones you use are relevant and attractive enough. Do not forget to put captions as well.
Concept
One great idea to maximize your color brochure printing is by implementing a unified concept throughout your brochure. For instance, you can use a specific background color and a highlight hue to underscore allows the importance of certain information. Just make sure that you do not use too many colors as it would make your brochure look amateurish or juvenile (unless you are targeting teens but still…). Try to limit yourself in your use of different colors.
Brochures are effective marketing materials. But they are even more efficient when you invest in color brochure printing. Just always keep all these other factors in mind to make your brochure campaign as successful as you want it to be.
