In an ordinary business customer service keeps the customers happy and coming back again and again. But customer service in a church is a bit different from that in a business. The pastor should only make peripheral matters in his congregation as easy and as attractive for members of the congregation. The teachings of the faith are of primaryimportance and so are these teachings in relation to implementation on the current life of the individual. How is faith affecting the current life of the church member? Is faith the basis of a church member's actions in life? Or is faith considered something very peripheral?

Targets for increasing the size of any congregation should be those people in your neighborhood who do not belong to any congregation. There could be many reasons, from atheism to a prior disappointment with the success of prayer. For these people the approach should be different from the usual one starting out with addressing faith. Most of these people want to get ahead in life. And this is the feature which should be used: You want people in your congregation who want to get ahead in life.

To get ahead in life, people should not concentrate only on the final action, but start with the basis for a successful life. They should look at their attitudes. They should look at what their attitudes are anchored in, which is their belief system (their view of this world). To facilitate this process I wrote a book. The content of this book aims at converting dreamers to doers and random doers to focuseddoers. As actions are based on current attitudes and as attitudes are anchored in the belief systems, the major belief systems are actually discussed with the Christian faith as the most appropriate. The book will proceed through the steps up to specific action plans for the reader and on to their implementation. The book is therefore titled "Create Your Future NOW". The reader is made fully aware of the fact that timing may not be under his/her control and that the path may not be linear, but may need flexibility to allow change in direction.
