How to Clone An MP3 CD with the Purchased M4P iTunes Songs

People always asks one question: How can I burn my purchased iTunes songs to an MP3 CD for playing in my car or my home stereo? Here is the tips:

This is a simple tutorial to burn iTunes m4p songs to an MP3 CD:

Things you will need:
The latest version of iTunes
An authorized Computer
CD burner or DVD burner(or an computer with a built-in burner)
Blank CD-R discs
Audio converters (Recommended)(Download NoteBurner Audio Converter)

Why we need an audio converter?

The purchased songs from iTunes are protected by DRM in an M4P format, which will block you burning your iTunes songs to an MP3 CD, an audio converter will come to help you remove the DRM and convert the M4P format to MP3 format which you will need.

Here it goes:

Firstly remove DRM from iTunes songs and convert M4P to MP3 with the audio converter:

Step 1. Donwload Noteburner audio converter for free on Noteburner official website and run as administrator to install it

1. On the main window of NoteBurner, click the Settings button, a dialogue box will pop-out.

2. Browse to choose a file folder for storing the converted songs.
3. Choose MP3 as output format.

4. Go to MP3 tab and check the ID3Tag options.

5. Click the OK button to save the changes.

Step 2. Create playlist to contain songs for converting to MP3

You can burn the already existing iTunes playlist, or create a new playlist, and then add selected songs to the playlist for converting to MP3.

Tips:

Since NoteBurner utilizes virtual CD burning mechanism to convert audio files, it's suggested that one playlist shall contain no more than 74 minutes music, that's approximately 650 MB files, the standard capacity of Compact Disc. If the playlist contains more than 74 minutes, the converted audio tracks might be divided into two or more virtual discs, depending on the number of the songs you add to the playlist.

Step 3. Choose NoteBurner as CD burner, and then burn the playlist

In the latest version of iTunes - iTunes 10, please right click the playlist that you want to burn, then please select the iteam"Burn Playlist to Disc"

Before the burning starts, you will be prompted to choose CD burner. You should:
•Choose NoteBurner Virtual_CD_RW as the CD burner
•Select Audio CD as Disc Format
•Check the "Include CD Text" option

Burn the converted MP3 songs to MP3 CDs with iTunes

Step 1. Create an MP3 playlist

iTunes you can create a playlist that will be about 150 songs, on a 650 MB CD-R disc

Step 2. Select MP3 CD

In iTunes 10, please right click the playlist >choose Burn Playlist to Disc, then choose MP3 CD as the Disc Format, and then click OK.

Step 3. Select the playlist

Select the playlist want to burn to the CD, and make sure all the songs you want to include have a checkmark beside them.

Step 4. Insert blank disc

Click the Burn MP3 CD button (at the bottom of the iTunes window) and insert a blank disc.

Step 5. Start burning

Click the Burn Disc button to start burning mp3 CD.

If you don't want to use iTunes, you can burn the converted mp3 songs with a burner, or just with your built-in buner computer. In this case, please click the Folder button of Noteburner to open the output folder where you will find the converted MP3 files and then use the burner to burn your songs to an MP3 CD.
