I have found that most of the online scams never contact you in return or they give you the same information that was posted on the site. I have also found that if a number is present you will never get an answer or they will send you to some special recording.

Secondly, research the company online. Now granted every company gets bad reviews and such from people who were too lazy to put in the work, however most of the time they are honest reviews. Also, you want to make sure that the information is not coming from the original site. Trust me, the people running these scams are not going to admit that it is one!
