“God is love” was and still is a popular quote used throughout the years, but yet people are slaughtered annually because of their different Christian beliefs. And it’s not just in far away places that this happens. No, it’s in our own backyard, and for many of us, in our homes as well.
Many years ago, two young LDS missionaries came into a Catholic church and sat down. A woman turned to them, apparently “righteous” and said, “You Mormons make me sick.” The missionaries never came to our church again, but at what cost? “God is love” indeed.
This happens in all places, not just in the Middle East, Germany, or Armenia. Maybe if we stopped judging each other’s beliefs, the message of God would sink in. But that will not happen today, apparently. Too many of us are wearing on our shield, not God, but the Devil.
