Most word processors have this setting to “portrait”, wherein the vertical dimension is longer than the horizontal. Since a brochure has a wider vertical dimension we are switching the dimensions to “landscape” so we can match a color brochure's dimensions approximately. Just choose the landscape option and you will be able to change all the lengths immediately.

2. Split the page into three columns. Afterward, you should then insert three columns into the text document. Usually you will find this at the insert menu or the format menu of your word processing software. Split the landscape page into three columns to get the three panels for your custom brochure printing. Make sure you add a divider line so that you can gauge where the brochure folds should be.

3. Add your content. Finally, you can add your content using the three panels as reference. Make two pages, one for your inner panels and one for your cover panels for the brochure. Type in what you need and place in any images that you want.

Printing at home easily.

Printing custom brochures at home or even at the office is pretty simple as well. Just print them in your home or office printer using standard letter sized paper and viola! You can try using colored paper to make things more interesting. Some people also use double sided photocopiers to easily mass produce the color brochures.

Printing online professionally.
