Your kid might not be comfortable at playground or class room. He/she might not be coping with homework. In this situation, have a talk with your child, his/her class teacher and principal. Once you find out the reason behind fear, you can easily sort it out.

Separation anxiety might be a reason behind your child’s unwillingness to go school. Kids are possessive in nature. And, at this age little things appear more valuable them. When they think that they will miss something important during absence, attending school is hampered. At times like family reunion, birth of new baby in family or relocation, children generally unwilling to attend school.

Agoraphobia or fear of crowded and public places is the third reason behind many children’s refusal to attend schools. If you find Agoraphobia as the reason, consult an experienced child psychologist. Agoraphobia may hamper your child’s all-round personality development. According to the consultations of the psychologist, develop a sense of self-confidence within your child.

You may surprise your child with kids incentives programs and encourage him/her to go school. There are some situations, where all the above efforts fail. In such circumstances, keep in mind that good parenting is not all about fulfilling all what your child needs. Rather, it is about helping him/her to lay a strong foundation for future.

When failed after several efforts and kids incentive, convey a clear message to your child that you want him/her to go school at any cost.
