– 5 Importance of CNC Glass Machine Tools Maintenance
As the saying well goes, "right tools for the right job". To glass cnc router machinery, the glass grinding tools head is very important. It not only affects CNC glass machine processing speed, but also closely related with engraving and cutting performance. "The tide keeps its course" is also said in the same way.
1. For glass grinding tools, tool maintenance and grinding is of great importance.
After a project task is finished, no matter how the technician is tired, or so busy having no time, always keep in mind that, grinding tools should be packed up, and put back in good condition, then we could rest.
If glass grinding tool will be used only after periods of time, we should repair and maintain the router bits well, such as put some oil (to well protecting against dampness, moisture, and rust.), categorized into the toolbox or tool bag, for next time using.
2. For glass tools grinding, there are many methods.
Different persons in various places have different ways. However, no matter which methods applied, the glass grinding tools are always first sharpened from the inclined surface, until the cutting edge roll up, then turn back grinding the backside. Repeat several times like this, until the blade cutting point is sharp and even, and cutter face is as bright as a mirror.
The thinner CNC tools are, the sharper cutting edge is. But accordingly, the worse fastness will be. To this situation, the blade gap of opening blank should be thicker, to withstand bigger impact force. 4. Be Warned:
(1) Avoid glass grinding tool wear and knock against cement, brick, metal etc. hard objects.
For safety use, glass grinding tools should not be placed in such situation: tool head outward and even beyond the table edge, to scratch himself or others.
(2) When apply wood router bits, put a piece of cloth pads, to keep from bits dropping out.
