Although nominally a Christian holiday, Christmas is also widely celebrated by many non-Christians, and many of its popular celebratory customs have pre-Christian or secular themes and origins. Popular modern customs of the holiday include gift-giving, music, an exchange of greeting cards, church celebrations, a special meal, and the display of various decorations; including Christmas trees, lights, garlands, mistletoe, nativity scenes, and holly. In addition, several similar mythological figures, known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas and Santa Claus among other names, are associated with bringing gifts to children during the Christmas season.

Gifts Exchange on Christmas
On Christmas day, when family member gather, they exchanges gifts like flowers, cakes and Christmas cards. In this article, we will discuss what kind of gifts we can send on Christmas day.

Flowers on Christmas Day
Sending flowers to friends and family is very common on Christmas day, different type of flower arrangements are easily available in market. These flowers bouquet or baskets consists of flowers especially roses, carnations and lilies. Roses Bouquet is also very common to be exchanged between friends and family.

Season’s Greetings
Christmas cards are illustrated messages of greeting usually exchanged between friends and family members during the weeks proceeding Christmas Day. The custom has become popular among a wide cross-section of people. The traditional greeting reads “wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”.

Food on Christmas
A special Christmas meal is an important part of Christmas celebration, all family members gather to enjoy the meal. Special Christmas pudding, cakes and other dishes are made to feast the crowd.

Picnic or Recreation on Christmas
Picnic or going to some park is another way to celebrate Christmas day. People go to different parks or hill Side Mountains to have good time with their family members. Christmas Stakes are prepared and enjoyed in the afternoon. They play different kind of games like football or rugby on Christmas day
