The injectible material forms a soft and flexible area that looks quite natural. With this substance, the physician is able to smooth out existing bumps and dips in order to create a sleek new look. The upside to the non-surgical method is lower cost, no down time for recovery, very little pain, and an immediate result. The calcium hydroxylpatite will last up to two years before being broken down and reabsorbed by the body.
