Another detrimental to the skin is too much sun exposure. But extreme or completely out of the sun is ironically unhealthy too. Washing the skin too often is not at all advisable. Overly washing increases oil, and may lead to skin irritations. If you are using facial scrub, limit its use to twice or thrice per week only, giving ample time for your skin to generate new cells. Never attempt to squeeze your blemish skin for it only pushes the dirt inward and may possibly lead to infections.

Be mindful to keep your hands clean all the time. Touching the face or nose cannot be avoided, so it is wise to keep clean hands. But it will be best if you avoid too much hand contacts as the heat from your hands stimulate your skin glands to produce more oil. If you have sweaty hands, the more that you should avoid contacts with your face especially, since sweat and oil can clog your skin pores.

If you are an active person, like an athlete or into workouts and exercises, be sure to wear breathable and loose clothing on the process so as not to well up heat inside your body. Aside from physical factors and exercises, foods too have a dramatic effect on your skin. Too many sweet foods are to be avoided as these cause zits and blemishes. But there are lots of foods that still affect your skin in a healthy manner.

Drinks too can beneficial to the skin, such as green tea. It is said to best for skin maintenance. Green teas wonderfully replenish and rejuvenate your skin cells for that sought after glow. It is skin rejuvenation that contradicts what most dread, the aging process. To keep your skin moisturize without any help, drink plenty of water. Water flushes out toxins and impurities leaving your skin clearer and cleaner.

Eating right and healthy is closely associated to fairer looking skin. Omega fatty acids found in fish are essential to healthy skin. Therefore, eat plenty of fish with rejuvenating acids to promote good skin. A diet with lots of fish increases your skin’s softness. Another beatifying skin agents are fruits and vegetables. These extremely healthy food substances are rich in vitamin A and maintain high level of collagen in your skin for firmness.

These and more are among the ways to keeping your skin healthy and blemish free. A glowing and spotless skin is essential to promoting self-confidence and a sense of assurance as you wound yourself to the labyrinth of life.
