While flying days make an amazing experience for anyone, it depends somewhat on the vehicle propelling you through the air. Of course, each of these activities comes with its own learning curve. Hang gliding trainers say it takes around ten days of flying in good weather to train a total newbie to the level of Club Pilot, but a great gift idea would be a 2-day taster course, which would furnish the receiver with a good understanding of the basics, as well as a limited Elementary Pilot certificate - a flying gift experience!
