First Step For Wealth Creation - Start In Your Heart!

So, the question you need to ask yourself is, “Am I really prepared to be wealthy?” Because if you are, then you are not pursuing wealth to attain its physically expressed form-cash, money, moolah!

If one is to be fully satisfied on this earth, the pursuit of wealth must be first and foremost. Not the wealth that comes to your mind. But the wealth of a different kind, the kind your heart is desperately crying out for, that longing for answers to, the “why am I here God?” questions.

It is a simply a heart issue. If your happiness rests in the seen world of money, cars, toys, homes, etc. you are going to be very surprised if one of two things happens.

First, if you achieve material success and have put your time, energy and entire dedication to the pursuit of such things, but have sacrificed your heart in the process, you will arrive empty. The second scenario is the one of disappointment. If you put forth all the effort you can muster spending time, energy and money in pursuit of riches but still end up with nothing, you also arrive empty.

The destination is the same when the motivation is the same. The only way to change the outcome, or destination, is to change the why of what you are doing. And that is a heart issue.

Money and material wealth flows in this world to the good and the evil. But if you choose beforehand to give money or material wealth away, even before you have it, in order to keep the flow going, success is imminent. The picture of success looks different for every one of us.

Our Creator made us for one purpose and one purpose only. His command was to first love him with all our heart, mind, body and soul and then to love our neighbors as ourselves. There is nothing in this requirement that says I must pursue money with all my heart, mind, body and soul. That is where we lose track. When the motivation is not to serve but to want to be served, our destination will likely not be the one we are hoping to find in this mad pursuit of “happiness”.

Who does not want true peace and pure joy in their life? True peace and pure joy come from something that cannot be purchased or stolen. It is a place discovered only from a motivation of giving. Not a motivation of giving to get something material in return, but a pure motivation of giving to get something eternal.

Again, this is a heart issue we are talking about.

So, the question you need to ask yourself is, “Am I really prepared to be wealthy?” Because if you are, then you are not pursuing wealth to attain its physically expressed form-cash, money, moolah!

If your heart is in the right place, you are seeking to get in order to give. You will know this when peace of mind and pure joy are a destination you have reached regardless of the size of your checking account.

Do not get me wrong, I love what money and material can do. It is a fabulous tool for accomplishing many things in this world. But one of my favorite sayings is, “To Live is To Give”, from Dock Houk of The National Heritage Foundation.

So the bottom line is, “Are you really ready?”

If you are, start looking and investigating ways in which you can create something using what God has already blessed you with. You have skills, abilities, talents and life experiences ready to be mined and used that others may benefit.
