What is the difference between first person and third person shooter games? In first person shooter games your play the game from the eyes of the character. You do not actually see the character you are playing. Rather, you typically just see the gun pointing out in front of you as if you were holding it.
In third person shooter games, you see your entire character. It is like you are looking through a camera lens or watching a movie. There are two different variations of third person shooter games. Thinking as if you were holding a camera, some can give you an overhead view while you are playing or can be over the shoulder and level with your character. In addition, you can sometimes move the camera around your character allowing you to see your character from the front angle.

While these are the most popular shooting style games for the Xbox, it is important to adhere to the age restrictions on some of the games. They can be very graphic and violent and may not be suitable for younger children.
Regardless of what your favorite storyline is, there are hundreds of different shooting style games to choose from. Many can be found in the larger discount stores, gaming stores, and at online retailers. You are certain to find one that you find entertaining.
