There are several religious sites in Bali. Following are some of the most important ones:

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan

This is one of the most important water temples in Bali. This fascinating temple is located in Lake Bratan. If you love photography, take flights to Bali and visit this temple because this is among the most beautiful and most photographed religious sites in Bali.

The temple was built in 1633 according to the ancient manuscript which belongs to Mengwi Kingdom. King of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Putu built the temple. While walking through the alleys of the temple, you would come across large stupa with magnificent carvings. Next to the stupa, you would come across Pura Teratai Bang which is the main temple. There is a small temple inside Pura Ulun Danu Bratan which is dedicated to the goddess of food.

Brahma Vihara Arama Temple

Brahma Vihara Arama Temple is the most famous Buddhist Monastery complex in Bali. It is also known as Banjar Buddhist temple. This serene spiritual site is located on a hill. This is Bali’s largest Buddhist temple. It is located southwest of beautiful Lovina Beach. Banjar hot springs is just nearby. Uluwatu Temple

This spiritual site is located in quaint village of Pecatu in Kuta District. It is situated on the south-western tip of Bukit Peninsula. The natural view compels several tourists to take flights to Bali and visit the Uluwatu Temple. While visiting you need to take care of your belongings because there are numerous monkeys. They are notorious for snatching cameras, bags and eyeglasses.

Pura Samuan Tiga

Pura Samuan Tiga is also known as the temple of the meeting of the three. During Udayana Warmadewa dynasty, this temple was the royal temple. This temple was built around 1,000 years ago. The temple is known for its spectacular architecture. While visiting the temple, you find a refreshing ambience which is created by two rivers flowing by the structure. The main gate and the tower of the temple were built by I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, renowned Indonesian artist. You should take cheap flights to Bali and visit Pura Samuan Tiga to take a closer look at the shrines and paintings of scenes of Ramayana.
