Wedding speeches by the couple's parents can be an emotional and stressful time for the parents who might try to escape the obligation or procrastinate until it's too late. -Put in the speech the right mixture of emotional. Don't sound detached or overly emotional as the guests might feel uncomfortable.

-Special thanks should be addressed to the guests who demonstrate their love by attending such a personal and happy occasion. Do not forget the staff who labored hard to make the wedding reception a beautiful event.

-Try to deliver a speech that will have a profound impact in stirring the emotional chords of the audience and will also keep them from getting bored.

-Conclude the speech wishing the couple love, devotion, happiness and good fortune.
