However, you don't need to run a marathon or swim the pace of an Olympic competitor to help reduce the symptoms of your arthritis. Exercise if done correctly, will allow your joints to move freely and build endurance.

Maintain a healthy weight. It is one of the best things that can help you preserve your joints. Keeping your weight down helps to reduce the breakdown of your cartilage and reduce the joint discomfort. An effective exercise program not only helps in controlling your weight but also helps you sleep better, feel good and boost your self-esteem.

It is important to consult a doctor before starting your exercise program. The perfect combination of exercise with a healthy diet will help you improve your quality of life.
