Koala Kingdom is another good option to visit for some adventure time. One can enjoy a relaxing time beside the swimming pool or hop into the ‘Burger Bar’ for a bite. This place is located in Bibra Lake which is just about twenty minutes from Perth and a drive of about fifteen minutes from Fremantle.
Scuba diving is a popular activity around Perth. This is primarily a result of the good visibility and interesting coral formations which make the waters around Perth conducive to scuba diving. One can get in touch with the local companies which operate dive charters and also hire out gear and tanks. The popular coral reefs and limestone caves are off the Coast of Rottnest Island. At Rottnest one also finds some of Western Australia’s best snorkeling spots. Being an island, one will always find a sheltered spot to swim somewhere, mainly around the places where the reef comes right up to the beach. One can also see some exciting stuff at the Marmion Marine Park which extends north of the city.
