Uses: Eye shadow enhances your eyes and can be used to add depth or highlight the color of your eyes.
Application: For a classic, natural look, use a light color, a medium color, and a dark color. With a brush, apply the light color from your lashes to your brow. Then with the medium color, apply across the bottom half of your lid. With the dark color, brush a small amount into the crease of your eyelid. If you are having trouble blending the colors, go over it all once more with the light color.
Recommendations: I recommend using a group of colors that are all based around the same hue. For example, use a white/tan, a sandy/gold, and a warm/chocolate brown. If you would like brighter colors, look at a color wheel to see what would compliment your eyes. Simply find your eye color on the wheel, then look at the colors on either side of it and the color across from it. For example, if your eyes are blue, try a blue, purple or green.
Tips: Use a ¼” brush for the lightest color, another ¼” brush for the medium color, and an 1/8” crease brush for the darkest color.
