Have a plain divider wall that drives you crazy? Dress it up with floor tiles, yes I said floor tiles. Tile the wall with wood tiles or make a geometric design with the tiles. Quarter inch trim can be used to cover the edges.

Wood floor tiles also make a great headboard for your bed. Cost: $90.00

For that same blah wall go to your local home improvement store and purchase1 4x4. Have the store cut it into 5 inch sections. Most stores will allow up to 8 cuts free and twenty five cents for each additional cut. You will also need a picture hanging kit. Sand the blocks to a smooth finish. Stain for a wood finish or paint and let dry overnight. Apply hanging hooks to the back of the blocks, one at each end of the block about a quarter of an inch from the top. Apply the hooks to all the blocks.

Measure the wall as to where you want to hang the blocks and with a hammer tap in small hanging hooks. Hang your blocks and set small candles or photos on each one. Your done and have a great wall decoration for about eight dollars. I personally like to paint the blocks the same color as the wall. At first glance it gives the appearance the candles are floating in air. Cost: $12.00

Have unsightly, exposed electrical cords? Cover them up with some larger sized decorative boxes and a few decorative throw pillows. It's a great design touch. Cost: $20.00-$100.00
