Fear, it's an ugly thing isn't it? I'm not talking about the kind of fear that keeps you from walking into oncoming traffic. That's legitimate fear. The kind that can save your life. No. I'm talking about the little nagging fears that get stuck in the back of your mind and make you miserable.

Let me give you some examples.
You buy a new blue dress but you worry your friends will hate it. "What if they think it's stupid," you say to yourself,"and then they'll think I'm stupid for buying it and"... you get the point.

You serve your new casserole but worry that Aunt Maisie won't like and God knows who she'll tell and you'd be so embarrassed that you're not as good a cook as your sister.

You make an off the cuff remark about your friend and you worry she'll never speak to you again.

Should you really worry about these things? Let's take another look.

Yeah, you probably should worry if your friends like the dress if you're planning to be a fashion designer. Otherwise, you like the dress, you bought it, so wear it? It really doesn't matter what your friends think. Maybe they're just jealous about the way you look in it:

And the casserole? Again, if you're planning on culinary school you probably should be concerned about others opinion of your cooking. Other than that, if you did your best, be grateful that you have food to put on the table. Besides, I heard Aunt Maisie is a lousy cook anyway.

And the remark you made? Apologize. We all make mistakes and a true friend will recognize that. Learn a lesson from it also, and think before you open your mouth next time.

The Law of Attraction tells us that the universe sends back to us exactly what we put out there. Do you really want this worry and doubt to tear away at you and then revisit you? Next time try this-
When you get up in the morning look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you are a worthy person. Expect your day to go well. Hold your head up high and let those petty fears roll off your back.
