DRM or Digital Rights Management is the system that imposes user control restrictions over digital data, which means the owner of the data has limited control over it. |

DVDs, CDs, iTunes etc. uses DRM as an action against the pirates to stop illegal distribution of their copyright products. A DRM protected DVD or CD prevents the contents from being copied or edited. But the legal user who purchase and own the DVD or CD has the complete right to do so for personal use.
When you purchase a piece of music over the iTunes, you also have limited control over that piece. Therefore the same cycle again. You cannot change the format of the music or the video you purchased. You cannot play them on other media players. You cannot burn them on a DVD or CD. Above mentioned acts are perfectly legal for the owner and supported by the fair use doctrine of the copyright law. Then why using DRM that is also creating problems for the legal users?
The reason is that with the advent of Internet, stopping copyright infringement has become practically impossible. There are hundreds of file sharing sites and P2P sites that allow users to download copyright products. As a result billions if users who do not own the files can download them and use them as they wish. This results in massive loss for the company that holds the copyright. But to stop that amount if users is something truly impossible. You cannot sue like billions of people all over the world. And how many sites are you going to stop for breaking the copyright law? You ban one site now and the next hour another site will pop up. So, the companies decided to impose DRM even though it also makes problems for the legal users. But we can remove drm. There are several ways. Like if you want to remove the DRM from the pieces of music you purchased then create a playlist of those pieces on your iTunes. Then burn those tracks on a CD-R or CD-RW and re-import them on your iTunes. There you go. You just removed DRM from those tracks.
But you just cannot do that every time. It¡¯s a waste of time and CDs also. Also, what about the DVDs and videos? You cannot do the same process. So, you should use a good drm remover. iSkysoft has a good DRM remover that you can use. It is called the DRM removal. You can use the trial version first to check out its performance. Then you can purchase the full version
It is fairly easy to use. You have to import the video or songs that you want to remove drm from then choose it. Select the format you like and click on convert. That¡¯s all. You will get the pieces of video or song DRM free once it is converted. It supports a lot of video and audio formats including HD (High Definition) video. As it converts the DRM protected files into plain files, it acts like a converter. You can choose the output configuration to adjust the sound channel, file size etc. You can extract audios from video so that if you have audio player, you can enjoy the music everywhere. Just try out this great software. You won¡¯t be disappointed.
