Meath is the historical capital of Ireland. Visit the fantastic Neolithic passage tombs of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth which are older the Egyptian pyramids. Climb to the top of Trim castle, a Norman castle built in 1173 and the largest of its kind in Ireland. Take in the spectacular views of the Boyne Valley and the historic town of Trim. "Braveheart" was filmed at Trim castle.
Enjoy being brought around the sites of historical city of Dublin where you can view Christ Church Cathedral , Dublin Castle, Dublin Parliament buildings, museums and art galleries and enjoy a pint of guinness at the top of Guinness's brewery overlooking the city.Enjoy the beautiful scenic drives through the rolling green hills of our Emerald Isle. Rathgillan Farm is situated in Co Meath 1 hour from Dublin and close to the historical Boyne Valley. We have 3 self catering properties situated on our farm. Two of the houses date form pre 1850 and were in disrepair. The were renovated to the highest standards 5 years ago while maintaining all their charm. They have beautiful cut stone and their original black slates. They have wood burning stoves, oil central heating and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding farm land.
