Driving on a road at speeds of 100 when it is tailored for 80 is sure to invite accidents.

For anti-skid surfacing materials to work on the road effectively as per their objective, the vehicles need to be driven in acceptable speeds. Drive vehicles on exorbitant speeds and you are sure to end up with vehicles being thrown off the roads. The critical point to be noted here is - The tires have some element of grips but they can only grip the surface of the road until the time you help them to grip. Driving at fast speeds, will not allow the tires to grip the roads resulting in accidents!

Bottom-line - anti-skid surfacing materials are very good additions to the road. They achieve the objective of preventing accidents on the road, but only if..! Only if you drive your vehicles in acceptable speeds will you be able to prevent your vehicle skidding off the road. Else, it is going to be extremely difficult for you to maneuver your vehicle on the road.
