There are different truths about MLM, multi-level marketing. Some more true than others.
It is true that by networking with people, you can build yourself a fortune. It is also true that you might network, asking all your friends and family to join you, and come up with nothing, no money. In fact you may have spent more money than you have earned. Even with the best MLM opportunity.
It is a known fact that network marketers ask their friends and family to join. I believe it is important never to risk a friendship by asking someone to join you if you do not truly believe they will benefit from it. It is also true that you should not ever pressure a friend or family member, just to enhance your business.
The important thing about MLM, is to have numerous streams of income. Have income coming in from your own sales of the products. Have another income stream coming from a website. Have another stream of income from phone verified leads. Work each of these and make them each build a steady stream of income for you. This will especially help take the pressure off your friends and family and also build up a healthier income for you.
The incredible wonder of MLM, is you never know whom someone knows, and someone you talk to, may know someone who works in a hotel for example, and then suddenly you have a whole hotel chain using your products. This can happen to any network marketer at anytime, and suddenly a millionaire is born.
