New Delhi: Dengue high alarming in Delhi with a reprisal. So far, near about 1000 cases were found and near about 12 people have died.
MCD issued legal notice to AIIMS ( All India Institute Of Medical Science), Safderjung Hospital, Lady Harding Hospital, RML Hospital, Delhi and 2,146 houses case were found positive for breeding Dengue Mosquitoes.

MCD issued legal notice to AIIMS ( All India Institute Of Medical Science), Safderjung Hospital, Lady Harding Hospital, RML Hospital, Delhi and 2,146 houses case were found positive for breeding Dengue Mosquitoes.

Kamal Raj Kiran, a seventh-semester student at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) died of dengue on 30-sep-06 and As many as 35 cases have been reported in the past days from AIIMS Staff.

Rajesh, a software engineer when he developed sudden high fever and headaches on 27-sep-06 admitted in private hospital, Delhi, when he come to know by blood report that he is suffering from dengue and his health condition was getting worse and observed internal bleeding then he visited AIIMS, the authority refused to admit him (platelet count was 42000). In this condition patient must keep in ICU for observation.

What is dengue fever?
A viral disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes mainly in tropical and subtropical areas of the world. Also known as 'break bone fever'. Aedes mosquitoes usually bite during the day especially during early morning hours before daybreak and in the late afternoon before dark. Dengue is spread by the bite of an Aedes mosquito. The mosquito transmits the disease by biting an infected person and then biting someone else.

Breeding season Aedes mosquito:
Breeding season for the Aedes mosquito begins after the monsoon (humid environment). What's specific to the Aedes mosquito that causes dengue fever is that it does not breed in dirty water. people should get ready for more dengue cases as October and November are favourable time for mosquito breeding.

Common symptoms of Dengue fever:
1.High fever, up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit
2.Severe headache
3.Retro-orbital (behind the eye) pain
4.Severe joint and muscle pain
5.Nausea and vomiting
6.Rash

Dengue precautions include:
1.Keep unscreened windows and doors closed.
2.Keep window and door screens repaired.
3.Get rid of areas where mosquitoes breed, such as standing
water in flower pots, discarded tires, stagnant water in water coolers and drinking water coolers.

Dengue treatment include:
There is no specific treatment for dengue. Persons with dengue fever should rest and drink plenty of fluids. They should be kept away from mosquitoes for the protection of others. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is treated by replacing lost fluids. Some patients need transfusions to control bleeding
