Pendants and paper lanterns are available in a variety of colors. Keep in mind the color scheme of your teen’s room when choosing pendant lighting or paper lanterns, If the dominant colors in the room are neutral shades like white, beige, brown, or light brown then opt for a lantern or a pendant that has vivid contrasting colors. For instance, for a room that is bathed in white, opt for a paper lantern that has a color like hot pink, maroon, or bright blue.

When choosing paper lanterns you can opt for a large single lantern or go for multiple lanterns in varying sizes. You can hang multiples in varying sizes and differing heights for a distinctive look to your teen’s room.
